Dr. Bright is a graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. After college she served her country for ten years in the Air Force before returning to her first love of veterinary medicine. She honed her skills at a multi-doctor practice in Vero Beach before opening Happy Tails Pet Clinic in 2006. In her free time she donates her services to Peoples Alliance for Wildlife Survival [PAWS] and Mid-Florida Sheltie Rescue.

HAPPY TAILS PET CLINIC
Effective Monday April 20, 2020 animals only will be allowed inside the clinic.
The following protocols will be in place regarding appointments:
Wellness Appointments -
We ask that you give us a call when you arrive for your appointment. Please stay in your vehicle. At this time, you will be transferred to one of our technicians to go over any history, concerns, symptoms, or questions you have regarding your pet. We will then have you bring your pet to the door and a technician will take your pet into the building to have their exam, vaccinations treatments/diagnostics done. We will call you right back and go over findings and recommendations.
Sick patient, Emergency or End of Life Appointments -
Please call ahead and schedule an appointment as usual Our staff will triage the situation to help guide you on whether you should wait in your car or proceed immediately into the clinic. For those appointments that need owners present, we are asking that you limit the number of clients in an appointment to one (1). There will be special exceptions made for end of life care.
Medication and Food Refills -
Please call ahead for refills as usual. When you arrive, please call from your vehicle. Your medication / food will be verified, and customer service representative will take payment over the phone. A staff member will bring these items out to your car.
Elective Surgery or Dentistry Drop-off -
We ask that you give us a call when you arrive for your check-in appointment. Please stay in your vehicle. At this time, you will be transferred to one of our technicians to go over any history, concerns, or questions you have regarding your pet (just as if you were in the clinic). We will then have you bring your pet to the door and a technician will take your pet into the building to be checked in with a doctor for their surgery / dentistry appointment.
To protect you pets, please be sure to bring all cats in carriers and dogs on slip leads! If you do not have these, we will have loaners in the clinic for you to use.
